Working From Home.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is changing the world we live in. My family and myself are all tucked away in doors. Work is still pushing on at a pace on Paddington. Thanks to the wonderful team at Blue Zoo, it’s all been pretty seamless. Edit takes a bit more time but its working. We’re working. Making Paddington didn’t seem quite as important in these disconcerting days, but the little Bear deserves life too. He’s a joyful creation. Full of love for his friends and family.

The Adventure of Paddington Bear won Best Childrens Pre-School series at the British Animation Awards last night. Great news for the whole team at Blue Zoo. Im biased, but it’s pretty damn good!

Paddington
Delighted to be moving onto The Adventures of Paddington as Storyboard Supervisor. I’ve had a nice 2 week break after 101D but very excited to be helping out the guys at Blue Zoo see out Paddington S1. It’s a beautiful sweet funny show.

The news blog is back again after a year. The time has flown by. Production of season one of 101D is slowing and the crew is getting smaller every week. The last few shows are going through animatic and layout. Its been an amazing ride!
Storyboards
Now that Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed! has been released, I thought I'd post a couple of board panels from the very first episode "Edubot" 4000. This was the first Episode and was done in Photoshop. And also, for comparison, a few frames from "Pie Sky" drawn in Panelforge . I did one show using Panelforge which had its good points but didn't work at all well on Mac at that time.
Passion Pictures
Life at Passion is great and going by way too fast. The show and the team are awesome. I'm really lucky to have such a great story crew. Bianca Ansem, Max Loubaresse, Althea Aseoche and Robair Nelson. Missing is Adrian Maganza and out of house Barry Reynolds. Top drawer talent and people.
So long Saloon...
The times here again to move onto new things. Many thanks to all the guys at Cartoon Saloon for having me these last 6 months. Ive loved working on Wolfwalkers and the two new shows they're developing.
Ive a pretty free week before I move onto my next role as Storyboard supervisor at Passion Pictures. Im really excited to start work on another great show with a great team.

Freelancing is going well. I continue to stick to my guns and work on things I really want to. Im currently over in Ireland helping out on Wolfwalkers. So great to be working with the Cartoon Saloon guys again.

Work is going great right now. I'm working with the wonderful folks at Plugin Media on their new show Such a brilliant bunch of people!
And also developing a few things with my pals at Mackinnon and Saunders. I'm alway enthused coming away from the MS studio. So many things to try and not touch.
We are pitching next week anyway...so a few more early starts needed yet.
